Dog-a-holick in Westbrook, ME

The team at Dog-a-holick is absolutely amazing. My dog has significant special needs, was born deaf, and has spent much time in the last nine months in critical care. Because of her health, she hadn’t had a nail trim in 15 months. I did a lot of research before calling, and they were kind enough to schedule a tailored, end-of-day appointment to ensure she wouldn't be stressed. From the moment we arrived, it was 'love at first sight' between my dog and the groomer. While I waited, I could hear the staff celebrating and cheering after every single nail they clipped—it made me giggle knowing my dog was the center of their world! They brought her out cradled like a baby, and she was so relaxed she was actually giving them kisses. It is clear these women truly love what they do. They provided a full report and gave me so much peace of mind regarding her comfort. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone with a sensitive or special needs dog.

Our dog is very aggressive and no other groomers would clip his nails. A friend of ours recommended Dog-a-holick. The Dog-a-holick staff all did such an amazing job with our dog. Not only did they trim his nails, but when they brought him back out, he was letting them carry him, and he was treating them like old friends. They definitely have a wonderful way with dogs! I highly, highly, highly, recommend them!

We have been taking Arthur to Laci and the team since he was a baby. This crew is the most caring and kind bunch of groomers I have ever met. They handle Arthur’s spiciness with grace and kindness and do an amazing job . They even get kisses and snuggles from him! Arthur always looks so good after Laci and team have handled him and I never doubt that he will step out of the salon looking as beautiful as ever. They always do what we ask in terms of style and exceed our expectations in terms of his grooming needs . I 100%recommend Dogaholic’s above and beyond all groomers- anywhere !
